Which basin tap should you choose from the Trone collection?

Are our basin taps easy to install?
Yes, the installation is standard. To guide you, detailed installation manuals (step by step) are available in the Documentation section for each of our models.
How to clean and care for Trone basin taps?
To preserve the shine and durability of your basin taps, we recommend gentle and regular cleaning.
For the tap body, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with a mixture of water and 10–15% white vinegar. Leave it to work for 3 to 4 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft, dry cloth. This final step helps prevent limescale marks from forming.
Remember to also clean the tap aerator, also known as the mousseur. This small component is located at the end of the spout, where the water flows out. Over time, limescale can build up and reduce water flow. We recommend removing it once a year and soaking it for 5 minutes in a mixture of water and 15–20% white vinegar. Rinse thoroughly before reinstalling it.
Avoid harsh detergents, concentrated limescale removers and abrasive sponges, as these can permanently damage the finish of your basin taps.
In case of significant limescale build-up, opt for several gentle cleanings rather than using a highly aggressive product. This will help preserve your tap’s finish for years to come.
Which siphon should I pair with my basin tap?
The right basin siphon depends first and foremost on your installation.
If your basin or hand basin is wall-mounted, we recommend the Encelade space-saving siphon. More compact and discreet, it remains barely visible beneath the basin while preserving the light, minimalist look of the overall design.
If your basin is installed on a cabinet, the Encelade siphon is perfectly suited to this configuration. As the siphon is hidden once installed, there is no need to choose a space-saving model.
