INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE
Installation
• The installation is standard for a Japanese WC (requires an electrical connection) and can be performed by any plumber.
• A detailed installation manual is included in the product packaging and is available at any time in the Documentation section.
Maintenance
• Nozzle:
The nozzle cleans itself automatically before and after each use.
The nozzle can also be removed for manual cleaning.
• Washing module
To prevent limescale buildup, run a descaling cycle every six months. This frequency may vary depending on water hardness and daily use; refer to the user manual.
To ensure proper functioning of the module, replace the particle filter once a year.
• Hinge / Seat / Lid:
Use neutral pH products: glass cleaner, black soap, household alcohol, non-abrasive sponge.
Do not use: hydrochloric acid, ammonia, white vinegar, household acids, bleach.
• Bowl:
Use lukewarm water and mild soap; use light descaling products if necessary.

The functions focus on the essentials to provide immediate comfort, without unnecessary complexity. No gadgets. No extras. Only what matters.
Only the essentials
A rear jet, a front jet dedicated to feminine washing, and an oscillating mode for a wider, gentle cleaning.
After washing, warm air drying extends the feeling of comfort, allowing for reduced use of toilet paper. You can adjust the air temperature to your preference.
For customized comfort, adjust each element according to your preferences: nozzle position, water jet temperature and intensity, drying temperature.
Two user profiles save your preferences to allow you to find, each time you use it, an experience already familiar with your favorite settings.
The handheld showerhead cleans itself automatically before and after each use to ensure perfect hygiene. You won’t have to worry about it anymore.
LED lighting, discreetly hidden under the ceramic, turns on in the dark by detecting your presence. This light helps guide you at night without having to turn on the main light, thus disturbing your sleep less.

Why choose a Japanese WC?
Water washing allows for a more precise, gentler, and more hygienic cleaning than using paper alone. It also provides a very different feeling of freshness and cleanliness every day.
Altesse is designed with attention to detail: self-cleaning nozzle, night light, adjustable water and drying temperature to suit your preferences. All these features improve and simplify daily life.
Paper, on the other hand, becomes optional. One roll consumes 168 liters during production. With Altesse, it becomes optional.
Is the installation easy?
Yes, the installation is standard and identical to that of a classic wall-mounted Japanese WC.
It can be done by any plumber, without any special constraints.

Is Altesse compatible with the Kaoline flush-plate?
Yes. To harmoniously blend and ensure perfect consistency with Altesse, Trone offers you the ceramic flush-plate Kaoline. Please note, to install Kaoline, choose the SIGMA support frame models from the Geberit brand.
Is Altesse compatible with all support frames?
Yes, Altesse is a Japanese wall-hung WC that can be installed on all support frames available on the market.
If you have chosen Kaoline as the flush-plate, the installation must be done with a Geberit Sigma 8 or 12 support frame.

Is Altesse easy to use?
Yes. With Altesse, everything is designed to be intuitive. From the remote control, select the front or rear spray, then adjust your preferences: nozzle position, water temperature, spray intensity. Once the washing is finished, the warm air drying takes over. 4 buttons, nothing more.
Paper or not? How does the drying work at the end?
Altesse was designed to drastically reduce paper use. After washing, warm air drying can take over for added comfort. Some people use almost no paper, while others prefer to continue using it according to their habits. Everyone has their own comfort.
What is included with Altesse?
The suspended Japanese WC Altesse comes with the following items:
- The ceramic bowl, its seat/lid set with hinges, and its electronic module
- The remote control with CR2032 battery
- The ceramic remote control holder

The following items are not provided:
- The support frame
- The gasket and sleeve
- The drain pipe
- The flush-plate
If you want to pair Altesse with our Kaoline flush-plate, the Geberit Sigma 8 or 12 support frames are required for installation.
How to maintain Altesse?
To maintain your wall-mounted Japanese WC, follow these recommendations:
